Aram board with hooks Max5 or Max10

The ligature resistant Aram board with hooks is part of an interior design series developed for challenging environments.
The series offers adaptable solutions for sleeping, studying, and storage – tailored to the specific needs of each facility.

  • The ligature resistant Max5 and Max10 hooks release under loads exceeding 5 kg and 10 kg respectively. They flex without breaking and return to their original shape.

Aram board with hooks is particularly suitable for youth care, residential treatment centers, and correctional facilities.

The Max5 hook releases at loads above 5 kg, and the Max10 hook at loads above 10 kg – in any direction. The hooks bend instead of breaking, causing potential ligatures to slide off. They then return to their original shape and functionality.

Their soft, spring-loaded construction minimizes the risk of bodily injury in the event of a fall or accident.

The board features generously curved shapes with rounded edges and corners, further reducing the risk of injury.

When securely mounted, it prevents components from being removed and used as weapons. The tight fit against the wall also prevents cords or other items from being attached behind the board, offering a high level of protection against self-harm and injury.

The board is made from plywood, ensuring strength and durability. The laminate surface is scratch-resistant, easy to clean, and retains its appearance over time.

The rail is supplied as standard with the Max5 or Max10 hook in beige.

The name Aram, derived from the Persian word for “calm,” reflects its geometric and structured design – in contrast to the sister series Roya, which features softer, more harmonious lines.

The design is both carefully considered and aesthetically pleasing, aiming to create safe environments without overtly emphasizing the security features.

The Aram board is available in 4 configurations, with 2, 3, 4, or 5 hooks of either the Max5 or Max10 models.

A range of familiar interior accessories, such as mirrors and hook boards, is now also available in the Aram and Roya series.

These products complement fixed interior fittings and make it easier to design safe, functional, and visually appealing environments for both residents and staff.

Installation
The hook board is delivered pre-assembled.

The board is mounted with security screws. Make sure that the board is mounted on a flat wall surface to avoid gaps between the board and the wall.

We offer installation services for fixed furnishings. Please let us know when placing your inquiry, and we will provide a quote for this service. Installation is most requested for larger projects.
When you choose to use our installation service, we assume responsibility for the product warranty regarding proper installation.

If you choose to install the product yourself or through a third party, it is important that the installation instructions are strictly followed and the installation is carried out correctly.

The product warranty does not apply if the product is not installed according to the instructions.

Maintenance
The surface of the board should be cleaned using a mild liquid detergent and a soft, clean cloth in circular motions. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt, a soft nylon brush may be used in the same manner.
Alcohol-based disinfectants may be used on laminate surfaces if needed. Never use abrasive cleaners or rough tools such as scouring pads, as these may scratch and damage the surface.
Regularly check that all visible screws are tightened and that no gaps have formed.

The hook can be cleaned with a clean, soft cloth and mild liquid detergent. If needed, it can be disinfected with alcohol-based disinfectants. Do not use abrasive chemicals or rough-surfaced sponges.

Colours
The product is available with laminate finishes in ash or walnut. Other laminate options are available upon request.

The hook rail is supplied with the Max5 or Max10 hook in white as standard. Other colours – magenta, black, white, and grey – are available as options.

Sustainability
The product is made of plywood, a strong and durable material that ensures a long lifespan. The laminated surface is scratch-resistant, easy to clean, and maintains its appearance over time – making it a sustainable and practical choice for demanding environments.
Max5: The hook releases under loads up to 5 kg when a cord (Ø 1 mm), shoelace (8 x 1 mm), or a rope made from bed linen is used.
Max10: The hook releases under loads up to 10 kg using the same materials.
The plywood board can be recycled as wood. The hooks can be recycled as plastic.

Warranty
The warranty period for our products made of laminated plywood with treated edges is 2 years from the delivery date.
During this period, the warranty covers manufacturing defects, material flaws, and surface treatment issues.
It also covers installation-related faults, provided that the installation was carried out by Healsafe Interiör’s appointed or in-house installers.

The warranty covers the following areas:
Manufacturing defects: Any defects caused by faulty manufacturing or materials
Delamination: If the laminate layers separate due to faulty adhesive or process
Surface treatment: Issues such as peeling, stains, or deterioration in appearance due to surface treatment errors
5-year warranty on the hooks.
