The Roya wardrobe is part of a furniture series developed for environments with high security requirements. The series offers solutions for sleep, study, and storage, all adaptable to the needs of the specific operation.

The wardrobe is particularly suited for youth care, residential treatment centers, and correctional settings.

Available in two models – tall (1891 mm) and low (1400 mm) – both without doors or drawers, eliminating potential risks such as hiding spots, ligature points, or items that can be used as weapons.

The shallow compartments provide good visibility, facilitate inspections, and reduce the risk of hidden or stuck objects.

The sloped top prevents the placement or storage of objects – a key feature for minimizing the risk of stacking, concealment, or misuse.

The wardrobe can be complemented with the J-trac clothes hanger system [link].

Made from plywood, it is strong and durable. The laminated surface is scratch-resistant, easy to clean, and long-lasting.

The construction is based on traditional joinery and gluing techniques, resulting in a strong and stable structure with no visible hardware or loose components – increasing both safety and durability over time.

The plywood edges are routed to create smoothly rounded edges, reducing the risk of injury from falls. Fixed installation also prevents parts from being broken off and used as weapons.

The name Roya is derived from the Persian word for dream and sleep – reflected in the furniture’s soft and harmonious lines. Its sibling series Aram features a more geometric design language [link].

Installation
The furniture is delivered pre-assembled.

We offer installation of fixed furnishings. Please indicate this when submitting your inquiry, and we will assist you with a quotation for the service. This is most common for larger projects. When you choose installation through us, we take responsibility for the product warranty in terms of correct installation.

If you choose to install our fixed furnishings yourself or through a third party, it is important that the installation instructions are followed and that the installation is properly carried out.

The product warranty does not apply if the furniture is not installed according to the instructions.

Maintenance
Clean the surface using a mild liquid detergent and a soft, clean cloth with circular motions. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. For more stubborn dirt, a soft nylon brush may be used in the same way.
Alcohol-based disinfectants can be used on laminated surfaces when necessary.
Never use abrasive cleaners or rough tools such as scouring pads, as these may scratch and damage the surface.
Check regularly to ensure all visible screws are tightened and that no gaps have formed.

Colours
The product is available with ash or walnut laminate, but other laminate finishes are available upon request.

Delivery time is 8–12 weeks from final order confirmation. Please note that unforeseen events may affect the delivery schedule.

Warranty
The warranty period for our products made from laminated plywood with treated edges is 2 years from the date of delivery. During this period, the warranty covers manufacturing defects, material faults, and surface treatment issues.
It also covers installation faults if installation was performed by Healsafe Interiör’s appointed installers.

The warranty covers the following:

Manufacturing defects: Any faults caused by improper manufacturing or defective materials.
Delamination: Separation of laminate layers due to adhesive or production errors.
Surface treatment: Defects such as peeling, stains, or visual degradation caused by surface treatment faults.

Adapting fixed furniture to a room

Healsafe Interior’s fixed fittings are designed for high-security environments in a balance between security and design. The range includes shelves with shallow depths, backs designed to fit snugly against walls and mouldings, and angled wardrobe tops to facilitate searching. The functions have been integrated into the design to maintain an overall aesthetic and counteract what could otherwise be perceived as an institutionalised and security-heavy design language.

The interior is designed to be flexible and customisable. The parts can be customised according to placement, e.g. there are beds for left or right corners.
