Roya bedside table

The Roya bedside table is part of a furniture series developed for challenging environments. The series offers adaptable solutions for sleeping, studying, and storage, tailored to the specific needs of each facility.

The bedside table is custom-designed to complement the Roya bed and follows the same design language and placement logic.

Available with or without a storage compartment, and adapted for different user needs and corner placements.

The robust construction with fixed mounting minimizes risks and ensures long-term durability.

The Roya bedside table is particularly suitable for youth care, secure care environments, and correctional settings.

It is a compact bedside table — similar to a cube — that takes up minimal space while still offering functional storage and a small resting surface. (A larger bedside open cabinet is available in the same series for those who need additional storage.)

The table is available in two mirrored versions — with or without a compartment—designed for placement in either the left or right corner, viewed from the foot end of the bed. The design is a natural extension of the Roya bed and contributes to a cohesive interior.

The solid construction and fixed mounting minimize the risk of dismantling and support long-lasting use.

The table is made from plywood with a durable laminated surface that is scratch-resistant and easy to clean.

The rounded edges have broad curves that reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

Construction is based on traditional joinery and gluing techniques, resulting in a strong and secure structure with no visible hardware or detachable parts — an important feature in environments with elevated safety requirements.

The name Roya is derived from the Persian word for dream and sleep – reflected in the furniture’s soft and harmonious lines. Its sibling series Aram features a more geometric design language.

Installation
The bedside table is delivered assembled.
We offer installation services for fixed interior furniture. Please notify us when submitting your inquiry, and we will assist in preparing a quote for this service. Installation is most commonly requested for larger projects.
When choosing our installation service, we assume responsibility for the product warranty related to correct installation.
If the installation is carried out by yourself or a third party, it is important to follow the provided instructions and ensure proper assembly.
The product warranty does not apply if the product is not installed in accordance with the instructions.

Maintenance
Clean the surface using a mild liquid detergent and a soft, clean cloth in circular motions. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. For more ingrained dirt, a soft nylon brush may be used in the same manner.
Alcohol-based disinfectants may be used on laminate surfaces if needed.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or rough tools such as scouring pads, as these may scratch and damage the surface.
Check regularly that all visible screws are securely tightened and that no gaps have formed.

The product is available with laminate in ash or walnut. Other laminate finishes are available upon request.

Plywood components can be recycled as wood.

Delivery
The furniture is tailored to the facility through a close and collaborative process with Healsafe Interiör.
The furniture can be adapted to existing environments, and multiple laminate options are available.
Optional visualization based on your room dimensions is offered on request.
Delivery time is 8–12 weeks from final order confirmation.

Warranty
The warranty period for our products made from laminated plywood with routed edges is 2 years from the delivery date.
During this period, the warranty covers any manufacturing defects, material faults, and surface treatment issues.
It also includes installation-related defects in cases where Healsafe Interior appointed or in-house installers have carried out the assembly.

The warranty covers the following areas:
Manufacturing defects: Defects resulting from production or material faults
Delamination: If the laminate layers separate due to faulty adhesive or production process
Surface treatment: Issues such as peeling, staining, or visible deterioration due to surface treatment errors
