Robust ladder

Robust ladder is specially developed for care environments with high demands on safety, hygiene, and durability. With its secure construction and fixed installation in the Robust bunk bed, it contributes to order and comfort in environments with high safety requirements.

  • Rotationally moulded in an unbreakable single piece of impact-resistant plastic (polyethylene).
  • Can be bolted to the Robust bunk bed using the included secure fixings – for safe and stable installation.
  • Smooth, rounded surfaces with no openings – prevents cords, clothing or similar items from being attached, reducing the risk of self-harm.

The Robust ladder has been specially developed for use in psychiatric care, youth care, correctional facilities, and other settings where furniture must withstand intensive use without compromising on safety or function.

The Robust ladder is rotationally moulded in a single seamless unit, providing a strong and joint-free construction without weak points. Its smooth surfaces make it easy to clean, disinfect, and inspect, while also eliminating the risk of hidden dirt or concealed objects.

Material
Made of polyethylene plastic.

Installation
Bolt to the Robust bunk bed using the included fixings for secure installation.
If a washer is included, it must always be used when installing the screw. Stop tightening when resistance is felt. Finish the final turn carefully, preferably by hand. Overtightening may weaken the plastic around the screw.

Maintenance
The wipeable surface is easy to keep clean with a soft cloth. We recommend using all-purpose cleaning wipes, mild household detergents, degreasers, or antibacterial cleaning agents. Avoid using abrasive materials, solvents, steam cleaners, or high-pressure washers. Use bleach and chlorine-based disinfectants with caution, and avoid placing the chair near heat sources.
