The open shelves minimise the risk of concealed items and contribute to an open and safe atmosphere. This design facilitates order and visibility, thereby supporting the user's autonomy and ability to take responsibility for personal belongings. By making it easy to see, reach, and organise one's possessions, the design promotes both independence and a sense of control in everyday life. 

The polyethylene material is exceptionally durable, completely water-resistant, and easy to clean. This is an essential feature in healthcare settings where hygiene and accessibility are critical. The textured, fire-retardant surface also contributes to enhanced fire protection. 

For an added level of safety, the open chest can be floor-fixed using tamper-resistant fittings. (Please specify when ordering if a floor-fixing kit is required.) 

The RYNO open chest is available in several colours, with three stocked finishes (Moonwalk Grey, Cool Green, and Dusty Blue) for shorter lead times. 

The unit comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

Assembly
Delivered fully assembled. Floor fixing is recommended for demanding environments – please specify when ordering if a floor-fixing kit is required.
The open chest can also be wall-fixed using wall anchors and fittings suited to the wall material and the safety requirements of the environment, providing additional stability. 

Maintenance
Clean the furniture easily by wiping with a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid abrasive materials, solvents, steam, or pressure washing, as well as placing the furniture close to heat sources.

Sustainability
The RYNO open chest has a long lifespan and is fully recyclable, as the polyethylene material can be remelted and repurposed into new products. Tested to ANSI/BIFMA X5.5:2012 standards. Tested to BS EN 16121:2013+A1:2017, Test Level 2 (Severe). Complies with fire safety standards UL94 HB and British Standard 5852:2006 ignition source 5 (Crib 5).
UV resistance tested to UV21+, meaning it can withstand up to 21,000 hours of sunlight exposure.
