The cigarette lighter is made from acid-resistant (marine grade) stainless steel and features a ligature-resistant design, making it well-suited for environments with high safety requirements where open flames present a risk – such as forensic psychiatry, correctional facilities, youth homes, and similar settings.

The unit is mounted directly to a wall or flat surface and connected to the mains power supply via a rear cable entry. Please specify voltage (230V or 110V) when placing your order. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

During installation, the security screw is removed to detach the front plate, allowing the wall box to be mounted. Once the unit is securely installed, the front plate is reattached and locked with the screw.

For servicing, the front plate can be easily removed without the need to uninstall the wall-mounted box.

To operate the lighter, the user presses and releases the button. A safety timer is activated, initiating an automatic cycle: the heating element is powered, then turned off, followed by a cooldown phase. The cycle cannot be restarted until it has fully completed, minimizing the risk of misuse or overheating.

This flameless cigarette lighter enhances safety by completely replacing traditional lighters and matches, significantly reducing the risk of fire, vandalism, and threatening situations. Its fixed installation ensures smoking takes place in designated areas, simplifying supervision and reducing pressure on staff.

Installation
During installation, the security screw holding the front plate is removed. Once the screw is detached, the front plate can be lifted off, providing access to the wall box. The wall box is then mounted and connected to the mains power supply. When the unit is securely in place, the front plate is reattached and fastened with the security screws.

Maintenance
Cleaning should be carried out using a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials and strong chemicals that may scratch or discolor the stainless steel surface. For best results – always wipe with clean water after cleaning and dry the surface thoroughly to prevent stains or corrosion.

Only clean the product when the power is disconnected. This is to avoid moisture damage and eliminate safety risks when handling electrical components such as the push button and cigarette socket.

If disinfection is needed, alcohol-based disinfectants approved for use on stainless steel are recommended. Avoid chlorine-based agents, as they may cause corrosion over time.

Cleaning should be performed regularly, especially in environments with high usage, humidity, or where hygiene is of particular importance.

Do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners.

Replacement heating element: HSC102 screw-in type, available upon request.
