The Polar mattress is specifically developed and suitable for facilities requiring high levels of hygiene and water resistance, combined with appropriate safety standards. 

Polar features a responsive CMHR (Combustion Modified High Resilience) foam core – an elastic polyurethane foam with built-in flame-retardant properties that enhances fire safety and provides long-term shape stability. The foam offers consistent support and maintains its form over time while meeting stringent fire safety requirements. 

The waterproof, wipe-clean cover is easy to maintain and supports excellent hygiene. Heat welded seams effectively prevent liquid ingress and protect the foam core, making the mattress particularly suitable for environments where incontinence may occur.  

Polar is a robust and low-maintenance choice, offering well-balanced properties for safe, hygienic and reliable use.

Material
Polyurethane/Polyethylene with core made from fire-retardant CMHR foam (Combustion Modified High Resilience). 

Maintenance
For cleaning of superficial dirt, use a disposable wipe and a warm solution of mild, neutral detergent. Abrasive cleaners should not be used. Disinfect when necessary with a mild chlorine solution (0.1%, equivalent to 1000 ppm). Avoid cleaning agents containing biological or phenolic substances. All cleaning and disinfecting agents must be thoroughly rinsed off, and the cover should be completely dried before storage or reuse. The mattress should be turned regularly, both from top to bottom and side to side, to allow the foam core to recover and prolong its lifespan.
