It is made from a unique, flexible material that causes the hook to bend under load and release at 5 kg or more \u2013 regardless of direction. This means that cords, straps or similar objects detach from the hook when subjected to force, thereby reducing the risk of use in self-harming through suspension. When the load is removed, the hook returns to its original shape and function, entirely without damage.<\/p>\n<p>The soft and compliant construction also reduces the risk of bodily injury in the event of a fall or accidental impact.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to its discreet, everyday appearance, the hook does not appear institutional.
